Materials:

1. Red cabbage

2. Beaker

3. Bunsen burner

4. Pippete

5. sodium hydroxide

6. Hydrochoric acid

7. Test tube

8. Paper towel

9. Test tube rack

10. Water

 vinegar = pH 6.

 dishwashing powder = ph 12

.toilet cleaner = pH 11

I hope you like it Thanks for reading. have a nice day!

Sherbet

Hi  Everyone! in science class we are starting to discuss about sherbet and ten thing  baking soda do.

Baking soda is also known as sodium bicarbonate. Due to it abravis and cleaning properties it is used as rasing ange nt in baking as household cleaner and in a number of other  ways.

1. Scrub away marks on your walls.

2 Under arm deoderant.

3 Clean and unclog smelly sinks.

7 Wash build up out of your hair.

8 Deodorise you carpets.

9 Help wash clother

We need to write down our equipment and the step we will go through to make  our sherbet.

Once we have completed the materials and steps we can make  sherbet.

While you are eating your sherbet you can answer the 5 question at the end

Sherbet Recipe:

1 teaspoon of powdered drink crystal

1/4 teaspoon if citric acide

iteaspoon of icing suger

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Question:

1. which two ingridient in the sherbet are involved in the chemical  reaction?

baking soda and citric acide.

2. which ingridient are not involved?

icing suger and powdered drink crystal.

3. Can you think of any other chemical reaction that might happen ithe kitchen?

4. which ingridients is an acid?

Citric acid

5. which ingridient is a base?

The powdered drink crystal.

  • 7 Pot Primo 1,469,000 SHU. ...
  • Trinidad Scorpion “Butch T” 1,463,700 SHU. ...
  • Naga Viper 1,349,000 SHU.
  • Trinidad Moruga Scorpion 2,009,231 SHU. ...
  • Carolina Reaper 2,200,000 SHU. ...

Aim: to see which is the best way to cool down the hot chilli taste in your mouth when eating chilli

Hypothesis: I think that by using I will be able to remove the hot chilli taste from my mouth

Equipment:
1 Milk
2 Water
3 Coca cola
4 Tasting cup
5 Chilli

Summary and result:

Milk had a small effect on the chilli. after 3 minutes it took the whole taste away.

Coke had a small effect on the chilli. coke worked well after 3 minutes and removed the taste totally.

Water did not removed the chilli taste at all. after 3 minutes it removed the taste slightly.

Milk would be the most effective drink to use with spicy, chilli foods.

Conclusion

And milk could be solution when eating spicy foods - literally. that because milk helps your mouth handle capsaicin, an oily chemical compound in chilli peppers. capsaicin binds to receptor in the tongue and creates a burning sensation. casein protein found in milk can also bind to the capsaicin and wash it away.
