Hokey Pokey

 Hi Everyone! Taday in Sceince class we are going to make a hokey pokey and below you know the ingridients of how to make it.

Aim: To make hokey pokey.

When the sugar and golden syrup combine with the baking soda it froths and makes carbon dioxide gas. That is why the hokey pokey has bubbles.

Materials:

1. 2 tablespoons Golden Syrup

2. 4 tablespoons sugar

3. 1 Heaped teaspoon of baking soda

4. Pot

5. Tablespoon and teaspoon

6. Bunsen burner

7. Grease proof paper

Mask

 Hi Everyone! Today in our drama class we are finishing our mask for our performance I will show you my mask.

So here's my mask its not done yet because some of it is not dry. after it dry were are going to put some colour paints.My mask is a dog in our performance last week friday drama,one of my team we switched mask.I have her one and she have my one and i will show you our performance picture. 

In this performance Shanaya and makanya is a killer they are trying to kill the dog, the dog is Stella,me and sophie are the back ups.

Sleep and Exercise for teenagers

 Hi Readers to day in our Health class we talked about our health , healthy food and Execises.To be healthy you should eat healthey food, Below as you see theiris a food that you can eat if you want to Diet or just be healthy.

We also talked about Sleeping shcedules Everytime we sleep we should sleep at 9 pm, phones are off and no playing. you should wake up at 7 am  and we are not allowed to sleep above 9 pm or else you might ended up getting late at school.

Exercise Is goood for you if you want to exercise you should do every day for 10 minutes. when you are always active and exercising, your muscle will get growing even your heart. and the fact is you start to breath faster so your blood can pick up more oxygen from your lungs

HHS 2021

 Hi Everyone! Today in our Hurumanu three class we are going to make a work for the new students coming from our school in HHS

Hi new students welcome to our school. You will enjoy it here and I will tell you about the school.

This school is fun. There is a playground and big field for sports every friday and the lesson you will get id maybe science , cooking class, wood, Dvc and Japaneses class and if you struggle speaking english you can go to ESOL class it help you how to do grammars, spellings and math as well you will be enjoying in there.

On friday sports there are as lots of sports you can pick like in summer sport you can pick volleybal, rugby and others. In winter sports we get soft ball, football, hocky and others.

 Hi readers this is my story.

Forest fire

 There was a group of campers wandering around the forest near the city, trying to find an area to sleep in. They fixed their massive tents. After that they went to the river to get some fish to eat for dinner. They went back at 8 pm to cook their food and It taste really good. After eating they went  back to sleep and they suddenly forgot to take off the fire and at 2 am they woke up  and saw fire on the trees they called a firefighter luckily they came on time the fire was gone.

Sherbet Term 4

 Hi Everyone! Were talking about sherbet this tme and below is Recipe or equipment to make it and if you want to make it just follow the steps and the recipes .

Equipment:

1. Sugar

2. Baking Soda

3. Raro crystals

4. Citric Acid

5. Cup

Steps

1. Add the Baking soda, sugar, citric acid, and raro crystals together in a bowl.

3. Place the ingredients in your cup.

4. Mix it together and eat it. Yum.

Recipe:

1 teaspoon of powdered drink crystals (eg Raro)

1/4 teaspoon of citric acid

1 teaspoon of Icing Sugar

1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda.

Taste

 Hi Readers! Today in our science class we rae talking about taste.

Experiment: Blind taste testing.

Equipment:

1. Samples 1-9

1. Blindfold glasses

2. Recording chart

3. Ice cream stick taster

 Method:

1. Get safety glasses and make a blindfold.

2. Set up your chart and make sure that the person you are working with knos where to record your reponses.

3. Using and ice cream stick you will dip it to the sample. Once the sample is on the stick you will taste it and tell your partner your responses.

4.there will be 2 answers.

5. At taste test one you need to hold your nose.

Answer 1. Is it sweet, sour, salty, bitter. record it.

Answer 2. What do you think it is. Record it.

6. Repeat tjis for next sample but you will only need to use ice cream stick taster for sample 1-4.

 Hi everyone in our science class we  ar going to tolak about chilli.

2. facts about chilli

*Some part of pepper are more hotter than others.

*There's a different kind of pepper like bred pepper, caroline reaper and others.

*The hottest chilli in thw orld is the carolina reaper .

*The least spicy Chilli is Habanero.

*Bell pepper has different colours.

Instruction: 

1. Get your equipment ready.

2. get a drop of hot sauce on your popsicle stick.

3. Lick the hot chille sauce

4. Start the timer.

5. After 2mins drink your drink.

6. After 5mins, How hot is your mouth?

7.Repet the experient but with a different drink.

Boiling points of liquids

 Hi Everyone! Today In our science class we are Discussing about Liquids.

Aim: To boil a liquid, record its boiling point

Equipment:

1.  Bunsen Burner

2.  Thermometer 

3.   Tripod

4.   Heat proof mat

5.   Beaker/ Conical flask

6.   100ml water

7.  Stopwatch

Method:

1. Set up your bunsen burner with the tripod, gauze mat, beaker and water.

2. Pour 100ml of water into a beaker.

3. Light the Bunsen burner.

4. Place the beaker of water over the bunsen.

5. Place the Thermometer in the water and start to record its temperature every minute until it has boiled.

6. When it has boiled, turn off the Bunsen Burner.
