Hurumanu 2 Body Percussion

Hi Everyone In Hur 2 Class we did recording of our body percussion we used plastic bottles, wooden abacus, slippers and Chromebook. Its prudence sounds and beats when we tapped the bottle on some pieces of wood. We tried to shake the abacus and it sounded like a maracas instrument. We tapped the slipper on the floor. The sound is similar to clapping. I enjoyed doing this kind of activity with my group.

Athletic

 Hi Everyone Today in our P.E. class I learned how to play different sports game.  

In P.E  we did  Discus Is you have to throw far as you can, Shot put  is you have to hold the ball trough you shoulder and push it threw the ground, High jump you only have to jump above the stick , long jump is you have just to jump far and sprint is you need to run fast to go on the finish line.

I enjoyed the high jump and other.

Music Mood Hur 2

HUR 2 Counting the beat.

 Hi Everyone in our Hurumanu class we talked about counting the beats ,music and the different instruments. The class define music as sound that people listen to and It can be there inspiration,Music can have rhythm, beat and can bring emotions . For me music is like giving me a happiness.

We learned also  the different type of music that we identified as different kind of song and music is around us you can hear it trough song, beat, animals  and everything around us. There are pleasant and unpleasant sounds which give entertainment to people

Hur 3 Math

 Hi everyone! today in our class  I've been doing  maths DLO and it's about compass bearing. Bearing is a measurement of direction between two points, Compass is numbered clockwise with north as 0 degrees,  east 90 degrees , south have 180 degrees , and west have  270 degrees.

Local Heroes Task Hur 1

Hi Everyone today in our Hur 1 class  I've been working on my local heroes task about the mosque heroes and I will show my work .

Ahmed Iqbal Jahangir 

When he heard a one of his brother shouted that there was a gunman he went to the ladies room and  telling them to go down through the corner not in the main door because the  the gunman was there. 

He showed bravery and leadership.

 Its happens  in the Linwood Mosque .

They get involved because the gunman was shooting them while they were praying.

He received a bravery award because he tried to stop the gunman and then he got shot.

He got shot on the right shoulder and he spent eight weeks in hospital recovering from gunshot wounds he sustained in the Christchurch mosque shootings and he might not using his right hand.
