  • Trinidad Scorpion “Butch T” 1,463,700 SHU. ...
  • Naga Viper 1,349,000 SHU.
  • Trinidad Moruga Scorpion 2,009,231 SHU. ...
  • Carolina Reaper 2,200,000 SHU. ...

Aim: to see which is the best way to cool down the hot chilli taste in your mouth when eating chilli

Hypothesis: I think that by using I will be able to remove the hot chilli taste from my mouth

Equipment:
1 Milk
2 Water
3 Coca cola
4 Tasting cup
5 Chilli

Summary and result:

Milk had a small effect on the chilli. after 3 minutes it took the whole taste away.

Coke had a small effect on the chilli. coke worked well after 3 minutes and removed the taste totally.

Water did not removed the chilli taste at all. after 3 minutes it removed the taste slightly.

Milk would be the most effective drink to use with spicy, chilli foods.

Conclusion

And milk could be solution when eating spicy foods - literally. that because milk helps your mouth handle capsaicin, an oily chemical compound in chilli peppers. capsaicin binds to receptor in the tongue and creates a burning sensation. casein protein found in milk can also bind to the capsaicin and wash it away.

The Dawn Raid

Kia Ora! In our Hurumanu 1 class we are going to write the meaning of the words that been given by our teacher. Our learning out come is to Demonstrate how social messages and stereotypes can effect feeling of self-worth

Standing up for our rights:

*Discrimination - The act of treating some people unfairly because of  prejudice

*Prejudice - An opinion formed without knowing all the facts.

*Stereotype - A standardised and oversimplified an inaccurate conception held by many people.

*Protest - An objection or complaint, to Express objection in a planned organised way.

*Social messaging - passing of a message/idea from person to person in community.

The Dawn Raids

The white people arrest some of the black and pacific people they said that , they were taking their land and work or job because their was a lot of black and pacific people in New Zealand .

Some of them sent them back to there country and if your are not  real New Zealander because they need to ask you to prove by checking your  passport if its true,

Bastion point

The white  police people came to the Maori property and telling them to leave and Maori try to defend their land and they got arrested and they  will give the land to the white people. The police realise that it was illegal that taking the the Maori property and the army , police apologise to them for ruining their land and for arresting them.

I hope you like my work and thank you for reading.
