STEAM CHALLENGE WEDNESDAY WEEK 8

Kia Ora! Readers today in our wananga class we are going to make a blog post about our own transportation.

Basically the transportation that we are making is a fast flying taxi and in 2050 maybe there will be so much traffic and this is why we want our transportation that

we are making a fast flying taxi so we can go wherever we want like Auckland, Dunedin or the mountains.

I imagine that our fast flying taxi is like this.

Nga Tangata Learning outcome.

Hello readers! in our Hurumanu 1 class we've been doing a task about Using Assertive Communication to respond to conflict.

• Michael invited Tracey to come over to his house after school. As they were walking to Michael’s house they see a younger kid they know from school. The younger kid is by himself riding his skateboard. Michael wants to mess with this kid, just to play around, but Tracey is uncomfortable with that idea. 

Tracey:  Micheal don’t do it

Micheal:  Why! Come on Tracey this will be fun

Tracey: Please dont do it i don't like being a bad person anymore 

Micheal: ok ok fine i will not do it

Tracey: Because when you hurt someone I feel uncomfortable so I hope that you will change.

Micheal: Why would I want to change? 

Tracey:So people will treat you nicely and let yourself experience being good to others not only beating people and just pls stop it.

Micheal: Ok I will try being nice to others.

Tracey: Ok Now say sorry to all the people you hurted.

Micheal:What! Why?

Tracey: So that they will forgive you for being a jerk and a bad person.

Micheal: Ok!

Tracey: Now go I will be here waiting for you.

Micheal: Hey everyone sorry for being a bad person to you all I hope that you forgive me

Everyone: It's ok !

STEAM CHALLENGE

 Kia Ora! readers in our Hurumanu class we are going to tell about the CARR Values a in Hornby.

Commitment:

* being ready for school.

* being arrive on time

*Having the equipment ready for school and for learning.

Achievement:

* You have to aim high goal

*doing your best 

* Achieving all your work

Resilience:

* Don't give up no matter how hard it is and just try.

* being focus on your work 

* doing your work patiently and independently.

Respect:

* Listen to the teacher  when she/he teaching.

* If you want someone to get your thing say, Please and with manners.

* Be kind to everyone don't call each other bad names.

* Don't use inappropriate language.

Hi dear readers in out Hurumanu class  and i will show you my work

this is my work:

I bring all my equipment to class including my pencil case, books and charged device.  I bring my P.E gear on days when I have P.E or sport.   I arrive on time to class.   I have a positive attitude.	I complete work to the best of my abilities.   I set high goals for my learning.  I ask for feedback to improve my work. I don’t settle for the easy pass, I put in the effort.	I try new things, even when Im not sure I will succeed.  I accept feedback and use it to improve.  I treat mistakes as an opportunity to improve.   I ask for help when I get stuck.	I don’t distract others from their learning.   I use a murmur voice when I am working.   I look after the equipment in the classroom.   I listen to the ideas that are shared in class, even if I don’t agree with them.
